Thought I'd write a little post with answers to the various questions I've received about my sabbatical.
Does this mean that you're going to be a vicar then?
No. It's just a bible college (rather than a vicar factory). But I
will get a "diploma in theology, mission and biblical studies" (which
sounds far more exciting than FFA!).
Why did they accept you? You're so not sorted!
Ah! It's a very common misconception that Christianity is about people
who have it all together and do good deeds and all that, whereas true
Christianity begins with us admitting that we can't do it on our own and
mess up and therefore need help. And boy (as any of you who know me
can testify) do I need help!
